A note from Patty Cake...and book for a very dear friend who is ill

I really enjoyed writing the way over due letter my dear friend who is ill. The book by Gracia Burnham 'To Fly Again' will hopefully inspire her. I know she likes to read. Another surprise for her is that her book is personally autographed by the author.

Aren't butterflies the most cheery little creatures? They tickle me by their beauty and freedom. The one attached to the ribbon is made of feathers...looks like it could fly away...

2015 Mini Sampler Swap

A 4x6 'stitched bit' or 'mini sampler' made of fabric and embellished however we choose. The 4x6 size will be perfect to make into a banner for our craft area! The more months we participate...the longer that our banner/garland will be. We are free to make whatever we wish...does not need to be a specific theme, holiday or color for each month.. We'll add our name onto the back of sampler so we will remember who created the cloth sampler. Can't glue....must be hand sewn only. Linda said "You can do this!' So awesome she is with encouragement, one of the many gifts she shares with swapper friends. She asked no extras be included. It's going to be SEW much fun! Thank you Linda!
