When I'm Sixty-Four....

When I'm Sixty-Four
When I get older losing my hair
Many years from now
Will you still be sending me a Valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine
If I'd been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door
Will you still need me, will you still feed me
When I'm sixty-four
You'll be older too
And if you say the word
I could stay with you
I could be handy, mending a fuse
When your lights have gone
You can knit a sweater by the fireside
Sunday mornings go for a ride
Doing the garden, digging the weeds
Who could ask for more
Will you still need me, will you still feed me
When I'm sixty-four
Every summer we can rent a cottage
In the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear
We shall

And when was that??? Just ...

Yesterday
All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Balancing Act

Hat off to the Beatles as I've had some of their songs on my mind! This morning I woke up and thought about yesterday. Yesterday was my 64th Birthday! Woo hoo!

And hat off to  my husband Randy....my birthday was a blast and he had a lot to do with creating a day of fun memories with me. It was an amazing day start to finish!

This is my favorite photo because my heart is smiling at my best friend!
Photo taken outside The Lodge is on the Drummond Ranch and used for family gatherings and where lovely 'Ree Drummond' films her Food Network show. Boy howdy, it sure was quite a 'dirt road drive' off Highway 60, West of Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

I shared with Randy that this was my favorite part of our road trip to Pawhuska in Osage County. The Lodge is beautiful and I think it overlooks the Drummond Ranch. The whole day was cloudy and cool. We had a good chuckle talking to the 'friendly' white Labrador dog wandering all over watching the visitors intrigued by the sites.
Before we left town 'on my birthday vacation day' Randy and I attended Mass at St. Jude Parish and then to our tire store to have a tire repaired. Good catch Randy! A rusty old nail was the cause of a slow leak.
February 22 is Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter. Randy gifted me with the most beautiful canvas Art 'Feast of the Chair of St. Peter' for our family Chapel Barn.
In the photo I'm wearing my favorite Pendleton coat  that was a gift from Randy on our 18th Wedding Anniversary. Goodness...my coat is now years old. Good news it has remained awesome with some stitch care every now and then.

Not sure what the building is up there...
Very interesting though!

The Pioneer Woman Mercantile is a charming place! We especially liked the old time charm! Planned to have one of the delicious dinners on the menu however we just weren't all that hungry. Yep, the place was packed and filled with cute products!

and this MY MOST FAVORITE B BIRTHDAY CARD!
(Randy knows why)

A photo of the large canvas art Randy created for me.

Randy gave me HUGE stack of large holy cards which I shared all over the place.

A find on a sidewalk in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

We we returned to Wichita, Randy & I enjoyed an awesome steak dinner.

Bella (our cat) was waiting for us on the veranda when we got home.

Blessed...big time!
