'The Handiwork of God'
The name of Ann's lovely presentation
What a treasured friend you are Ann! Your journey is full to the brim trusting God. I'm always blessed when we spend time getting to know one another better. Thank you!
Ann's handmade dolls are 'over the top' unique. Their stories of creation captured my attention 'as a child'. I think all of the ladies had a doll story to share. which brought us back so many memories. One of mine~ I remember the smell I remember of my Thumbelina doll (with pull string) that Santa brought me one year. It makes my heart smile remembering how I held her in my little arms and watching her move (when I pulled her string). |

Sweet as ever! |

Up...up and away..... sometimes letting go is the best way to know... |
|
My friend Jennifer's sharing was too! She shared inspiration about her life and that how she began doing something everyday for her mind, body and soul.
A copy of 'Just Think...' that Jennifer provided all the ladies.
It's truly something to think about.
Just Think...
You're not here by chance,
But by God's choosing.
His hand formed you
and made you the person you are.
He handpicked you to be
The person your family and friends need.
You lack nothing
that His grace can't give you.
You are one of a kind-
He compares you to no one else.
Through you,
He is fulfilling His special Purpose
for this generation...
and for generations
to come.
Thanking God
for all the beautiful ways
He is working in you and through you
To bring His love to life.

Here are a few simple lists of good things to do for your body, mind and soul.
Some of the good things I found online & some are a few of my own-
A simple list of good things to do for the body ~
meditate, sleep, eat healthy (limit saturated and trans fats), exercise, avoid tobacco (including secondhand smoke), drink warm water with lemon, drink tea, brush & floss twice each day,
A simple list of good things to do for the mind ~
keep learning, believe in yourself, use your senses (this helps the brain to stay involved retaining memories), repeat what you want to know (this reinforces the memory connection), grow friendships,
A simple list of good things to do for the soul ~
Forgive someone, cultivate Spiritual joy (St. Clare did this...), serve someone, smile, practice gratitude, relax & savor enjoying yourself, enjoy art (one study shows that 'works of art' can give as much joy as being in love), keep dreaming ("Dreams provide nourishment for the soul just as a meal does for the body. Many times in our lives we see our dreams shattered and our desires frustrated, but we have to continue dreaming. If we don't, our soul dies," says Paulo Coelho, best-selling author of The Alchemist.) |

The lunch was a tasty one but not before dessert today! |
After lunch my new friend Janet gave a wonderful sweet talk all about Mother Mary miracles! It was perfect for Saturday is the day of the week, Mother Mary is especially honored.
Next our amazing daughter Amy gave a sharing about her faith walk and answered prayer. The answered prayer in her life is surely to change someone else's. So extremely blessed to be Mom in her life. A double blessing as we are best of friends too. An abundance of care and kindness flows from Amy's heart!! Instead of wearing her heart on her shoulder...the T she was wearing read flawed and forgiven (or something in the like). Amy's changing the world for the better with her kindness and I'm watching.
"Forgiveness is the best form of love.
It takes a strong person to say sorry and an even stronger person to forgive."

love, inspire, believe and DREAM...
"Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them."
Ephesians 4:2: "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
1 Peter 4:8: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
It was a winter day that I found the Y branch?
It instantly became 'YES' inspiration. |

Farm Charm
The old Chamber Stove from Mom's place on Mathewson Street.
When we renovated our farm house, Randy tried to resurrect this propane stove for our kitchen. Couldn't get rid of the leak in the line.... Oh well, a HUGE blessing in the l...o...n...g run because....well you know.
Not all the details were completed...my plan to have containers of assorted yogurt on ice in the punch bowl & juice set out didn't happen. Everyone was served coffee...first things first.
'Thank you, Jesus for the best Super Soul Saturday ever! It shed even more bright light on 'Finding My Way Home' story. |
